Introduction:
Fluorene is the 9H-fluorene, also called Diphenylenemethane; 2,2'-Methylenebiphenyl; 2,3-Benzindene; o-Biphenylenemethane; alpha-Diphenylenemethane-9H-fluorene; 2,2’-Methylemebiphemyl; alpha-diphenylenemethane; diphenylene-methan; Methane, diphenylene-; o-Biphenylmethane.
Features:
1) Fluorene is weakly acidic.
2) Fluorene is insoluble in water, soluble in organic agent, very soluble in high vacuum.
3) Fluorene is easy to sublimate in high vacuum environment.
Usage:
It can be used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, synthetic resins, dyes and various additives as well as in the manufacture of detergents, wetting agents, liquid glitters, pesticides, photographic materials and liquid crystal compounds.
