For a long time, most of the methods for synthesizing the dibenzofuran skeleton are realized through the coupling of carbon-carbon bonds of diphenyl ether. Most of these methods have low yields, and most of the reaction processes use heavy metal salts such as silver carbonate, and the operation is relatively cumbersome. Through palladium-catalyzed dehydrocyclization, we use simple raw materials and a simple palladium catalytic system to synthesize dibenzofuran in higher yields.
