Methyl naphthalene can produce vitamin K3
β-Methylnaphthalene can produce vitamin K3. Vitamin K3 is mainly used as a feed additive for livestock and poultry. After adding 2~4mg/kg vitamin K3 to the feed, it can promote the growth of poultry meat and eggs and enhance the resistance to diseases. Vitamin K3 can also be used as a hemostatic agent.
