Introduction:
2,3-Benzopyridine is also called quinoline, is a colorless liquid with a peculiar odor quinoline nucleus occurs in several natural compounds (Cinchona Alkaloids) and pharmacologically active substances displaying a broad range of biological activity. 2,3-Benzopyridine has been found to possess antimalarial, anti-bacterial, antifungal, anthelmintic, cardiotonic, anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic activity.
Application:
2,3-Benzopyridine can produce drugs and highly effective pesticides,and after oxidation, it can be used as pyridine carboxylic acid.Its derivatives can be used for the manufacture of color film and dye. And it can be used for synthetic drugs, dyes, pesticides and intermediates gas chromatography stationary phase.
