Application:
Fluorene can be mainly used to prepare medicines, fuels and various additives. It can be condensed with diamine to produce polyimide plastic, which has good transparency and impact resistance, and can be used for the manufacture of aircraft hatch covers and organic optical glass. Nitration and hydrogenation of fluorene can produce azomethine dyes and fluorescent dyes. After fluorene is condensed with acrylonitrile, it can replace anthraquinone to produce indanthrene dye. Nitration of fluorenone produces trinitrofluorenone, which can be used to prepare photosensitive materials. Fluorene can also produce detergents, wetting agents, liquid glitters and pesticides, etc.
