The effect of the amount of ethyl formate on the preparation of 9-fluorene methanol
Increasing the amount of ethyl formate is beneficial to increase the yield of 9-fluorene methanol, but after more than 400 ml, the yield is not improved significantly. In order to use a single solvent to dissolve industrial fluorene for recycling, it is advisable to add 500ml of ethyl formate.
